BFC Sports Ministry continues to partner with God First Sports (aka G1 Sports). G1 Sports is a non-profit Christian sports organization with a mission to share the message of God’s love through sports and fellowship. Each game/event has a fellowship time where the good news of God is shared.
G1 Summer Basketball League
Come out for our Inaugural Open Summer League!
League will be similar format to Monday/Thursday League in the Fall and Spring. Open draft league with paid referees, game recordings, and stat summaries (points and 3PM)
When: Season kicks off on Thursday, June 5th, 2025
Where: BACBC (1803 N Loop Rd, Alameda, CA)

Monday Division 7-10pm San Leandro (Bancroft Middle School 1150 Bancroft Avenue).
Thursday Division 7-10pm Alameda (Coastline Christian Schools 1803 North Loop Road).
Summer 2025 3-on-3 Tournament
Come join us for the G1 summer 3-on-3 tournament. A great way to start the summer!
Format: 3-on-3 tournament with 3 divisions: Open, 40-and-over and 50-and-over; organized games with hired referees
When: Saturday June 21st, 2025 (from morning to early afternoon)
Where: California Crosspoint Academy (25500 Industrial Blvd, Hayward, CA 94545)
Cost: $60 per player (includes lunch, G1 gift, prizes for winning teams)

Sunday Division 6-10pm Alameda (Coastline Christian Schools 1803 North Loop Road).
Summer 2025 Tournament - Summer Smash 2025!
Format: 6v6, co-ed format (2 female players on the court at all times)
When: Saturday July 26th, 2025, 8:30 am to late afternoon
Where: California CrossPoint Academy, 25500 Industrial Blvd., Hayward, CA 94545
Cost: $350 per team if register by June 15th, 2025, $450 afterwards (includes lunch and G1 gift for all participants)
4 games minimum guaranteed - Max 10 players per team roster - free agent option - B/BB average skill level

G1 Summer Volleyball Open Gyms
Come and improve your vball skills and stay in shape this summer!
When: Sundays, 6-9:45 pm, 2025 (6/8, 6/15, 6/22, 7/13, 7/20, 7/27, 8/10, 8/17, 8/24)
Where: 1803 North Loop Road, Alameda
Fee: $10 per for working adults, $5 for college students

Family Sports Day
A friendly space to bring your game.

Join us for an exciting and active Family Sports Day at the Bay Area Chinese Bible Church (BACBC) Gym! This fun-filled event is perfect for ages 8 and up, providing a friendly space to bring your game and enjoy various sports activities.
