RICH
Our world is full of people who long for money. Everyone wants to be rich. But the Bible says, “People who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil…” (1 Timothy 6:9-10, NLT). According to the Apostle Paul, people who live to accumulate more and more money keep falling to Satan’s temptations and trapping themselves by their foolish and dangerous desires. People who long for money are never satisfied, and they waste their lives on the unimportant. People who long to be rich live poor lives.
The Bible tells us to long for God and depend on Him to meet our needs. If we long for God and depend on Him to meet our needs, we are focused, fulfilled and we live full lives. People who long for God are rich!
“True godliness with contentment is itself great wealth” (1 Timothy 6:6, NLT).
