Bona Fide

We are supposed to worship God.  Psalm 29:2 tells us to, “Honor the Lord for the glory of his name.  Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.”  Psalm 95:6 says, “Come, let us worship and bow down.  Let us kneel before the LORD our maker.”   Psalm 100:2 calls us to, “Worship the LORD with gladness.  Come before Him, singing with joy.”  Psalm 117:1-2 commands, “Praise the Lord, all you nations.  Praise him, all you people of the earth.  For his unfailing love for us is powerful; the Lord’s faithfulness endures forever.  Praise the Lord!”

God desires and deserves worship from every person on earth.  Our Creator wants us to kneel before Him with gladness and sing praises to His name with joy.  But, the Lord does not want contrived or insincere worship from us; God desires and deserves authentic worship.  So, this month we are going to examine our worship to see if it is genuine and glorying to God.  Our goal is to have our God stamp our worship bona fide!
