"Are you hungry for an authentic faith that addresses the problems of our world with tangible, even radical, solutions? God is calling you to a passionate love relationship with Himself. Because the answer to religious complacency isn't working harder at a list of do's and don'ts — it's falling in love with God. And once you encounter His love you will never be the same.
Because when you're wildly in love with someone, it changes everything"

MOMS - Making Our Mothering Significant
Beginning on February 2nd the MOMS group will be studing the book "Sacred Marriage" by Gary Thomas. Scores of books have been written that offer guidance for building the marriage of your dreams. But what if God's primary intent for your marriage isn't to make you happy...but holy? And what if your relationship isn't as much about you and your spouse as it is about you and God?
This book many very well alter profoundly the contours of your marriage. It will most certainly change you. Because whether it is delightful or difficult, your marriage can become a doorway to a closer walk with God, and to a spiritual integrity that, like salt, seasons the world around you with the savor of Christ.
This group meets on the 1st, 3rd and 4th Tuesday mornings at 9:30 to 11:30 am in the church Event Center. Young Families
This small group attempts to combine the best aspects of fellowship and Bible study in an environment that is ideal for couples with children. The format typically consists of sharing dinner together and socializing for the first hour, which is followed by a study of topics that range from traditional Bible studies to application-oriented studies.
On March 11, 2010 we will be starting a new study. Join us for:
"What’s So Amazing About Grace?" by Phillip Yancey
Mention the word "grace" and what immediately comes to mind for most of us is a bagpipe wailing the solemn notes of "Amazing Grace."
The grace of which Philip Yancey writes is the freely given and unmerited favor and love of God. This grace seems a remote, almost sentimental concept, without a place in our lives or our society. In truth we are each starving for grace , and ready to grasp it tightly. And it is grace that all other hungers—for justice, for righteousness, for love—are satisfied
This group meets every Thursday from 6:30 to 9:00 pm in the church Event Center.
