Senior Adults' Ministry - Young at Heart
The Young @ Heart group is the senior adult large group fellowship ministry of BFCC. It exists to provide fellowship and encouragement to the senior adults of the church and community. Young @ Heart'ers enjoy meeting together to learn about God and to praise and worship Him. We have opportunities to meet new people, make new friends, pray, share, and encourage one another.
Some of the activities we do:
- Bible Studies
- Potlucks
- Hymn Sings
- Service Projects
- Outreach Activities (i.e., working with the children at church)
- Special Outings
Young @ Heart normally meets on the third Tuesday of the month in the church's Event Center. Our meetings begin at 11:30 am and end about 1:30 pm.
Calendar of meetings:
- SUNDAY, January 24 - Lunch (12:15 pm)
- February 16 - Big Band Day
- March 16 - Corned Beef and Cabbage lunch
- April 20 - Outing to Ice Creamery in Castro Valley (11 am)
- May 18 - Be Safe, Stay Safe
- June 15 - Season-End Celebration
